In the week of October 21st-27th 2019, OpenAIRE has organized a series of activities to highlight its continuous engagement with Open Access and Open science. Over 700 viewers participated in our Webinar Series, where specialists talked about RDM, H2020 policies, the OpenAPC project, Inclusive Science and a primer for open access journals on how to become Plan S compliant. We much appreciate the special participation and contribution of S.Venkataraman, Thomas Margoni, Emilie Hermans, Christoph Broschinski, Andreas Czerniak, Dominic Mitchell and Paola Masuzzo . Related to that, we would also like to express our sincerest thanks to all our participants, for their work in these areas and their willingness to participate with us in this event! All the records and presentations are available on OpenAIRE portal, ready to be used and shared, so go and explore!

At a national level we would like to highlight the activities of our NOAD in Greece, who organized a webinar in Greek about best practices on using and analysing data, in the context of data repositories, and the NOAD in Cyprus, who organized a national workshop where Citizen Science, Innovative metrics, practical aspects of Open Science in research, business development and innovation and also legal aspects were addressed. Slovakia also organized a webinar on OS and a workshop under the theme: "Open Access: its opportunities and challenges".

Also during Open Access Week, we wanted to showcase the OpenAIRE services, highlighting their most important features, their added value and the advantages of using them, as well as the latest developments.
We started with the Discovery Service - Explore; than the Provide Service for Content Providers; the Monitor Service for the funders and in the future for other organizations and research initiatives; on ARGOS, the most recent tool to create, link and share DMP's and, the last day, we presented our Develop Service, where we give access to the OpenAIRE Research Graph, and all the related tools and new features to access the metadata information space of OpenAIRE!

And last but not least, we launched a social media campaign 'Faces of OpenAIRE', highlighting the much valued work of the OpenAIRE National Open Access Desks (NOADs) in their respective countries.
