International Open Access Week is a great opportunity to highlight the services that promote Open Science implementation. One of the services that contributes to this is the most recent OpenAIRE service - ARGOS - an online tool to Create, Link, Share Data Management Plans (https://argos.openaire.eu).
ARGOS is an online tool to automate the creation, management, sharing and linking of Data Management Plans - DMPs with the research artifacts they correspond to. It is the joint effort of OpenAIRE and EUDAT CDI to deliver an open platform for Data Management Planning that addresses FAIR and Open best practices and assumes no barriers for its use and adoption. It does so by applying common standards for machine-actionable DMPs as defined by the global research data community of RDA and by communicating and consulting with researchers, research communities and funders to better reflect on their needs.
The tool has been built in such a way to connect with OpenAIRE underlying core services so as to enhance processes of information contextualisation and interlinking of research outputs, practices and services involved in a data management lifecycle. This is expected to contribute to the Research Graph that is currently underway.
It should be mentioned that, among the many functionalities, ARGOS allows for versioning of DMPs at all stages of the research lifecycle, thus enhancing the control of DMPs by individuals along with supporting their use as "living documents". There is also the possibility to publish and cite DMPs.

Usability
ARGOS can be used for:
- viewing/consulting publicly released DMPs and Dataset Descriptions or Projects corresponding to DMPs,
- writing and publishing a DMP,
- practicing for writing DMPs and Dataset Descriptions.
ARGOS is inclusive to all researchers and research coordinators who may use the tool to create machine actionable DMPs. Funding and Research Performing Organizations as well as research communities may use the tool and create Dataset Description templates according to their preferences or requirements. ARGOS may be used for purposes other than research projects, such as on the occasion of training that familiarise scientists with the data management planning process.
