OpenAIRE MONITOR Service: Simplify research tracking & monitoring #OAWeek

Be part of it! Make your research outputs count!

MONITOR Simplify research tracking & monitoring

The Funder Dashboard is built on the OpenAIRE Graph and provides a monitoring and reporting mechanism (including vizualization) that allows funders and policy makers to monitor all their funded research outcomes, once it provides access to reliable and advanced research analytics in real-time.

Additional functionalities will include private pages that allow configuration and deployment of on-demand visualization services.

So far twenty two (22) funders have joined and published their results in OpenAIRE, six (6) in the second semester of 2018 and one (1) in the first quarter of 2019 via the NOADs outreach, and a few more on the way.

The OpenAIRE Funder Dashboard has also incorporated new statistical reports and visualizations, considering the developments in the Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG-RTD) Open Science Monitor, the EOSC pilot Open Science Monitor activity and the collaboration with the DG-RTD policy office (who are requesting specific reports).

Tracking, reporting, monitoring made easy!

Funder. All you need to do is to provide OpenAIRE with a 'limited' set of metadata fields from your database and we'll take it up from there.

Advanced Analytics. Using text mining (topic modeling) on the full texts we can discover hidden structures and identify useful patterns, similarities, correlations trends and communities.

Our tech team would be happy to work with new use cases as this is the real value of using open science for transparent decision policy making.

Our services have already been successfully applied for the evaluation of parts of FP7, and we are continuing with the rest.
