Community Calls

Are you a content provider? Got questions? Come and Learn more! OpenAIRE is running a series of regular online community calls targeting all OpenAIRE content providers managers.

Every month, on the first Wednesday at 14h30 CET, the OpenAIRE Provide management team are hosting a webconference call with the OpenAIRE content providers community.

This will be an opportunity to present and discuss recent developments from OpenAIRE, upcoming releases from the provide related services and other related relevant topics, in particular a time to discuss and give feedback about interoperability issues and the OpenAIRE infrastructure.

OpenAIRE delivers a range of services to implement Open Science. One of its flagship services is the Content Provider Dashboard which is the one-stop-shop web service where all content providers managers (repositories, data archives, journals, aggregators, CRIS systems) interact with OpenAIRE.

For ten years OpenAIRE has been harvesting from over 1300 content providers a range of metadata from publications, research data and software via its Guidelines and validator. It is now possible to interact with the registration and validation process, subscribe and view metadata enrichments via the broker service, view aggregated, cleaned usage stats for repository access and also monitor the data source collection in OpenAIRE.

Timeline: These meetings are held every month and are open to all to register. They will last an hour and will provide a perfect opportunity to answer any technical questions with our experts – provide detailed information on the Guidelines, Aggregation process, Usage statistics, Validator.
The meeting structure will be the following: 1st) Relevant updates (5 min.), 2nd) Main topic presentation (30 min), 3rd) Open discussion on community questions and comments (25 min.).
