Governance
OpenAIRE is a participatory initiative from its onset. The current governance structure consists of three bodies: the General Assembly (decision making body), the Executive Board (steering) and the Management Office (daily activities).
Our management team
OpenAIRE operates a distributed management office with dedicated people that carry out the day to day activities, and provide the necessary leadership to coordinate the multiple facets of open science in Europe.
NOADs
Our network of 34 European National Open Access Desks are experts in open access and open science. They are embedded in national infrastructures and settings voicing the needs of the research community.
